It was love at first sight with this fiery Tibetan Ganesh!  I first saw him at a friend's house in a small thangka and based this painting on that traditional design. Ganesh typically signifies removing obstacles and is invoked to aid in new beginnings and transitions. This is a wrathful representation of Ganesh as he holds various weapons in his upper hands and a scull cap bowl in his lower left hand. A fun surprise is the carrot in his lower right hand! This Ganesh is bright, luminous and transcendent and radiates these qualities.
